I've been thinking a lot about human nature and why people do what they do. I've actually been obsessing over it to the point where i spend most of my day watching movies, reading books and web surfing all just to watch and try to understand the true emotions behind the mask.
My grandparents recently showed me this TV program about Noh Masks and how they are used to display emotion... it was really inspiring.

School starts soon and I'm excited yet not excited. I can't wait to see my friends and get back to work but I don't really want to spend the entire year like I did last year, sitting alone at an empty table watching fellow students laugh and talk to one another. last year i had barely a single friend in any of my classes and i usually sat alone alienated from the loud conversations. I wore my own Noh mask then, a blank face that showed no enthusiasm or remorse not even the slightest smile when I won a bout in fencing... i had lost almost all emotions that year that even my teachers said I should smile at least once.

I recently found a small not i had apparently wrote but can't remember writing it...

It said this: "Tragedies turn into mysteries, mysteries into dust and then the dust is blown away by the traveling wind. No one knows where it will land..."
